Dear friends,
It is our great honor and privilege to inform you that we have received a notification regarding an open call for applications for the 6th Edition of the stimulating International Conducting Competition Jeunesses Musicales which will take place in Bucharest and is organized by ELITE ART Club UNESCO. The competition will be hosted by the grandiose Romanian Athenaeum, and will take place in September 22-26, 2015.
Young conductors from all over the world are encouraged to take advantage of this marvelous opportunity and use this international platform to showcase their talent and skills. The competitors will benefit from the expertise of the “George Enescu” Philharmonic Orchestra from Bucharest, the country’s most accomplished orchestra, and the evaluation of a jury formed by some of the most skillful and qualified conductors in the world.
The competition is designed to meet as best as possible the needs of the competitors in the current context. As such, the financial prizes amount to 7000 EURO and the jury will also award conducting commitments with the Iasi Philharmonic Orchestra, the Timisoara Philharmonic Orchestra, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sibiu State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kielce Philharmonic Orchestra and so on.
In order to ensure a truly professional working environment and maximum opportunities for the competitors, this year’s edition is affiliated to the prestigious “George Enescu International Competition”.
The application deadline is August 15th.
