Goodbye, Mr. Director-General UNESCO!
The European Federation of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO pays a reverent tribute to the one who was Federico Mayor Zaragoza, a permanent friend of the civil society movement, a personality close to Clubs in Europe and around the world.

On December 4, 2024, UNESCO organized an online meeting between the National Commissions and the Clubs and Associations for UNESCO. The meeting was very well appreciated, taking into account the very large number of participants, over 200 non-governmental organizations and national commissions.
On August 13, 2024, the Third International UNESCO Model on the topic of “Ethics of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education” took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the World Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO. This large-scale event, held under the patronage of UNESCO, gathered 53 youth delegates representing 32 countries.
The first meeting will take place on 7 March 2024, and in the summer or autumn 2024 we will invite you to Athens to participate in the opening of the poster exhibition with the submitted artworks and a worldwide meeting with the participating artists. We transmit below the information about this great event of the Clubs for UNESCO movement, which has been proposed to be part of the WFUCA 2024 Agenda.

Europe! Brunnenmarkt revisited 24.11.2022 to 12.3.2023 at the Folklore Museum, Vienna, Austria. The Brunnenpassage is located at the longest street market in Europe – here perspectives on a future, peaceful, diverse Europe were collected in the form of transmedia storytelling within the framework of the European Pavilion Initiative. UNESCO Club Vienna extends an invitation to EFUCA members to visit the exhibition.
